Epperson Ministries believes in a holistic approach to recovery that involves ministering to the spirit, soul, and body of a person. We believe transformation takes place when our men start a new way of thinking. Ultimately, the end goal is that they choose to partner with the truth that they are a Son and Daughter of God. Epperson Ministries has partnerships with businesses and contractors that provide our Job Training. This often creates jobs for the individuals upon completing the necessary phases in the program that will give them the opportunity to pay child support, court costs and fines occurred over the life of addiction. Responsibility and accountability is modeled . These are two attributes that are need ed for success after that leave.
Two main partnerships that we have are TCAT (Tennessee College of Applied Technology) and Voc Rehab (Vocational Rehabilitation). The end goal is that every man would leave with a plaque stating that he has maintained a year of sobriety in a year-long program and he has a degree in some type of trade where he is able to provide financially for himself and his family. Both programs help support this end goal.
Mental Health Counseling and Pastoral Counseling is provided to address trauma, root issues related to the cause of addiction, goal setting and family reunification.
